I. Basic maintenance specifications
1. Daily maintenance
Structural inspection: Check the status of the light pole socket every month to ensure that the bolts are tightened.
Light source parameters: maintain illumination ≥85Lx, color temperature ≤4000K, and color rendering index ≥75.
Anti-corrosion treatment: Check the integrity of the coating quarterly. If the rust exceeds 5%, it should be refurbished. In coastal areas, hot-dip galvanizing + polyester powder process (zinc layer ≥ 85μm) is recommended.
2. Electrical maintenance
The grounding resistance of the cable is ≤4Ω, and the sealing level of the lamp is maintained at IP65. Regular dust removal of the distribution box ensures heat dissipation.
Ⅱ. Special maintenance of the lifting system
a. Comprehensively check the manual and electric functions of the lifting transmission system, requiring the mechanism to be flexible, the lifting to be stable, safe, and reliable.
b. The reduction mechanism should be flexible and light, and the self-locking function should be safe and reliable. The speed ratio is reasonable. When the lamp panel is lifted and lowered by electricity, its speed should not exceed 6 m/min (can be measured by a stopwatch).
c. The tension of the wire rope is tested every six months. If the single strand breaks by more than 10%, it needs to be replaced.
d. Check the brake motor, and its speed should meet the relevant design requirements and safety performance requirements;
e. Check the overload safety protection devices, such as the overload safety clutch of the transmission system.
f. Check the electric and mechanical limit devices, limit devices, and overtravel limit protection devices of the lamp panel.
g. When using a single main wire rope, the reliability and safety of the brake or protective device should be checked to prevent the lamp panel from falling accidentally.
h. Check that the internal lines of the pole are firmly fixed without pressure, jamming, or damage.
Precautions
When the high mast light needs to be raised and lowered for inspection and maintenance, the following requirements must be observed:
1. When the lamp plate moves up and down, all personnel must be 8 meters away from the light pole, and a conspicuous sign must be set.
2. Foreign objects must not block the button. When the lamp plate rises to approximately 3 meters from the top of the pole, release the button, then descend and check and confirm the reliability of the reset before rising.
3. The closer the lamp plate is to the top, the shorter the duration of the inching. When the lamp plate passes the light pole joint, it must not be close to the light pole. The lamp plate is not allowed to move with people.
4. Before operation, the oil level of the worm gear reducer and whether the gear is lubricated must be checked; otherwise, it is not allowed to start.
