Yangzhou Tianxiang Road Lamp Equipment Co., Ltd. founded in 2008 and located in the smart Industrial Park of street lamp manufacturing base in Gaoyou City, Jiangsu Province, is a production-oriented enterprise focusing on street lamp manufacturing. At present, it has the most perfect and advanced digital production line in the industry. Up to now, the factory has been at the forefront of the industry in terms of production capacity, price, quality control, qualification and other competitiveness, with a cumulative number of lights on more than 1,700,000.
In Africa, Southeast Asia, South America, and many other regions, we occupy a large market share and have become the preferred product supplier for many projects and engineering companies at home and abroad. Our commitment to high engineering standards makes us a major player in supplying structural steel square light poles to fast-growing markets like Thailand.
Thailand is undergoing a rapid infrastructural transformation. The Thai government's focus on the Eastern Economic Corridor (EEC) development plan, coupled with municipal Smart City initiatives in provinces like Bangkok, Chonburi, Rayong, Chiang Mai, and Phuket, has driven an unprecedented demand for reliable, durable, and modern street lighting infrastructure. Among various structural designs, steel square light poles have emerged as the preferred choice for architects, municipal engineers, and industrial developers alike.
As Thailand transitions toward green energy and smart infrastructure, the integration of structural Q235 steel square poles with high-efficiency LED and solar technology is reshaping urban landscapes from Bangkok to the coastal reaches of Pattaya.
Traditional round or octagonal poles still have their place, but square steel light poles offer distinct structural and aesthetic advantages that align perfectly with contemporary Thai development trends:
Our galvanized steel square poles are widely distributed and installed across various critical sectors in Thailand:
Thailand is a manufacturing hub in Southeast Asia, with massive industrial parks such as Amata City (Chonburi and Rayong) and WHA Industrial Estates. These zones require robust, high-performance lighting to facilitate 24/7 logistics and manufacturing operations. Square steel poles provide the structural stability needed for high-mast and heavy-duty industrial perimeter lighting.
The Department of Highways (DOH) and the Department of Rural Roads (DRR) in Thailand are upgrading rural and urban road networks. The aesthetic appeal and durability of galvanized square poles make them ideal for urban avenues, pedestrian crossings, and highway interchanges where structural integrity cannot be compromised.
In tourist-heavy coastal locations like Phuket, Koh Samui, and Hua Hin, street lighting must blend visual appeal with extreme weather resistance. Our hot-dip galvanized and powder-coated square steel poles are designed to resist salt spray corrosion while maintaining a sleek, premium appearance that enhances the local tourist experience.
The company was established in 1996, join this new industrial zone in 2008. Now we have more than 200 people, R & D Personal 12 people, engineer 16 people, QC 4 people, International trade department: 16 people, sales department(china): 12 people.
Our manufacturing facility boasts state-of-the-art digital production lines, including automated plate-cutting machines, CNC bending machines, submerged arc welding stations, and an advanced powder coating line. This complete in-house manufacturing process allows us to control quality at every step, ensuring that every square light pole exported to Thailand meets rigorous international standards.
With an annual capacity of hundreds of thousands of poles and lighting fixtures, we guarantee timely delivery and consistent quality for large-scale municipal tenders and private commercial projects in Thailand.
For engineers and procurement officers in Thailand, understanding the technical standards of our poles is crucial for project approvals. Below are the key engineering specifications that define our product quality:
We use Q235 carbon structural steel (equivalent to ASTM A36 or SS400). This steel grade is highly valued for its excellent weldability, plasticity, and toughness, making it the ideal base material for forming precise, straight square profiles without micro-cracking during the bending process.
To withstand Thailand’s tropical climate, all steel poles undergo hot-dip galvanization. The poles are acid-pickled to remove impurities, then dipped into molten zinc at approximately 450°C. This creates a multi-layered metallurgical bond between the zinc and steel, resulting in a minimum zinc coating thickness of 85μm, providing unparalleled cathodic protection.
Our square steel poles are welded using automatic submerged arc welding (SAW) technology. This ensures a clean, continuous weld line with deep penetration and no surface defects. The weld seam is then ground smooth before the galvanizing and optional powder-coating processes, ensuring a flawless aesthetic finish.
For projects requiring specific color schemes (such as dark grey, black, or bronze to match local Thai architectural guidelines), we apply an electrostatic polyester powder coating over the galvanized surface. The powder is cured at high temperatures to form a UV-resistant, scratch-resistant outer layer that prevents fading under the intense Thai sun.
Importing steel structures for large-scale infrastructure projects requires a partner with robust logistics and compliance experience. Yangzhou Tianxiang has established a streamlined export channel to major Thai ports, including Laem Chabang, Bangkok (Klong Toey), and Songkhla. Our international trade department (consisting of 16 dedicated professionals) manages all export documentation, custom clearance requirements, and certificate of origin (Form E) processing to help Thai buyers benefit from reduced tariffs under the ASEAN-China Free Trade Agreement (ACFTA).
Every project has unique requirements. Our R&D and engineering teams work directly with Thai contractors to customize square pole designs, including:
